My bear is complaining of feeling old lately. Old? He’s not even 30 yet! Suddenly he’s gabbing about a long list of minerals and vitamins he needs, calcium this, GNC that…oh dear…
Another thing on my to-do list- find Super Pills to turn my Bear into King Kong.
Meanwhile, he should try blueberries. Like in this smoothie. Yum!
I’m always so tempted every time I pass these sweet-tart morsels of fruity goodness, but usually they are so pricey. But then I found them on sale a few days ago. Score! Better than Jamba Juice- and you know exactly what goes into it.
Also very cool to sip poolside.
Blueberry Banana Smoothie
2 cups frozen blueberries
1/2 ripe banana
3/4 cup plain yogurt, preferably drained or Greek-style
4 TB confectioner’s sugar
1/3 cup cold water
Blend together in a blender or food processor. Sprinkle extra berries on top to garnish. Enjoy!

You know, I have been very hungry for the past hour, and I couldn’t figure out what it was that I wanted. But now that I’ve found this, I know! I have blueberries in the freezer and a ripe banana on the counter. Score!
Thanks for the recipe and the lovely photos!
This looks delicious! And I’ve been making homemade yogurt lately, so I’d REALLY know what goes into my smoothie! Yum!
OMG homemade yogurt, sounds delish! Do you use a yogurt maker?
Hi Kaitlin, That’s so sweet, glad you were able to find something yummy to make!
Delicious! I’ve never tried confectioner’s sugar in my smoothie. Gonna try this! Thanks.
Hi Jessy,
Yeah I like to use it cuz it doesn’t give me that grainy sugar texture. Hope you like!
Great stuff as usual…
