Happy May 12th! Today is my birthday! Congratuations me for passing the quarter-century mark.
You know you’re getting old when your friends start sending you e-cards with old lady jokes on them. No comment there, hmph. In lieu of the anniversary of my entrance into the world, here are some people that make life special- thanks for coming by for our housewarming/BBQ party! 
The thing about Turkish girls? They’ll totally help you in the kitchen. Look at these lovely ladies wrist-deep in raw meat. Seriously? Who else would do that?
I think this is the only shot I got of the actual food. I was too busy making stuff…and eating it. Mr. Bear made kebabs, and red pepper marinaded chicken wings. We had lahmacun, and lots of appetizers!
