One of the best things about shooting engagements is that you get to not only capture the essence behind a couples’ love but also get a sense of how that love came about. Every couples’ story is unique and heartwarming.
This week I had a session with the lovely Mina and her wonderful fiance, Brian.
Mina and Brian had been dating for quite a while, but Brian new in the beginning that this was the woman he wanted by his side for the rest of his life. And he knew exactly where he was going to ask her to do so.

Brian arranged ahead of time for his bride-to-be to be called upon by one of the performers at the sea lion show. Clueless, Mina went up to the stage, and when Brian got down on one knee with a ginormous rock, she melted.
And of course, a candid videographer friend captured it all in high definition.
These two are smart, witty, and genuinely kind. They know how to complement and encourage one another.
Mina and Brian, you guys are so beautiful inside and out.
