Salad with Sesame Miso Dressing

Honey and Butter Salad with Miso Dressing

This is the dressing that many Japanese restaurants will use on their appetizer salads.  Delicious and refreshing, it will liven up any Asian style meal or salad. This dressing is also light and low in fat!


Sesame Miso Dressing
¼ cup white miso
¼ cup soy sauce
¼ cup rice vinegar
2 TB vegetable oil
4 tsp sesame oil
4 tsp mirin
4 tsp roasted sesame seeds
¾ tsp sugar
1 tsp grated garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
1 TB sliced green onions

Whisk together all ingredients in a medium bowl to blend. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Will last up to 1 week refrigerated.

Serve with mixed greens of your choice. I used spinach, lettuce, cucumbers, carrots, onion, etc.
